Chasing Eliot Ness is a highly original novel written by Michelle Regan. This book puts Ness in the middle of a love triangle WHILE he is trying to catch Al Capone.
The Book takes place in Chicago in the 1930s and is a romantic thriller. A bit different than any other romantic thriller out there in that the writer uses real life historical people and mixes them with fictional people.
Eliot Ness is seen as never before. Those who think of him as Kevin Costner or Robert Stack are in for a shock.
The book is 574 pages long but is an easy read. There is a bit of humor in the book, although the reader will find themselves rooting for the bad guys.
This is one that you will not want to put down as the female protagonist is in danger throughout the book. Although it is the psychological danger from Eliot Ness that she has to fear most.
A good read for anyone who likes Romantic Thrillers as well as Historical Romance.
